"Practicing Authentic Leadership" 

 TIMO SCHNEIDER

Timo has been working as a specialist, manager and external consultant in the field of digital commerce and online marketplaces for over 20 years. His previous activities during this time ranged from setting up the first German online marketplace to being responsible for the development and construction of digital business models in start-ups, medium-sized companies and corporations through to strategy development and management tasks for several online shops. Timo therefore has extensive experience in the areas of strategy and business development and brand management as well as eCommerce and marketplace management.

REGINA LÜBBEN

Regina Lübben is a well accomplished HR expert and business coach. A trained economist she spent the first part of her career in South Africa and PR China raising a family. Upon returning to Germany she joined the HR department of BASF before moving on to ENBW in various HR positions. At Mannheim Business School Regina led the Career Development Team which supports MBA students in establishing a career in Germany. She enjoys coaching international MBA students and managers and see them grow into leadership positions.

ALEXANDER MYERS

Alexander Myers is currently working towards a PhD on academic entrepreneurship at LUT University in Finland.  He has worked for several grant funded startups in the USA and Europe as an early employee or consultant with a focus on clean tech.  He recently began a project entitled “Building a community for growth entrepreneurship in South Karelia,” connecting stakeholders within the region in order to develop the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

JUSTINUS PIEPER

Justinus holds a PHD in Leadership and was Guest Professor at Beuth Technical University of Applied Sciences Berlin with the denomination „Strategy in Economy and History“. He founded www.erfolgsgeschicht.net, supporting SMEs as well as corporations such as Audi, Siemens, Mast Jägermeister SE to apply stratagems, strategies and lessons to be learned of history. Currently he is a member of  the Chair of Technical Vocational Didactics, Prof. Ralph Dreher, University of Siegen.

KRISTINA LANGE

A certified conference interpreter and experienced entrepreneur, Kristina founded TL TRANSLATIONES with two business partners in 2003, providing public and private sector customers with a broad range of language services. During her 20 years of business activity, Kristina has learned to respond with agility to the highs and lows of start-up entrepreneurship and changing environments, such as the 2008/09 financial crisis and the current pandemic. She has overseen team sizes from 1-20 permanent staff and hundreds of freelancers, guided mostly by a motivational leadership approach.

Lars Späth

As Senior Vice President and Head of the Group Segent Water Processing Solutions (brands Passavant, Geiger, Noggerath, JOIS) for the Aqseptence Group Lars pursues sustainable growth and successful business development of the solid company he is working for. Constant process optimization, innovation and adding value to his esteemed customers and partners are his key drivers.

 

 

Christian Thams

Christian Thams is Executive Director Government Affairs at Gilead Sciences, an International Pharmaceutical Company, and is responsible for its Health Policy department in 35 European Countries. He has been ChiefOperating Officer and Managing Director of Burson-Marsteller Germany, where he led the Public Affairs Department as well as the Berlin office. He has more than 20 years of experience in Companies, Agencies and Politics in Berlin, Brussels and London.

 

 

This public debate will be moderated by Justinus Pieper (University of Siegen) and Igor laine (LUT University, Finland).
